Many unfortunate incidents occurred during our first event of the season, the Texas Open that have marred both the reputation of the PSP and the reputation of paintball as a whole. We received information regarding damage to numerous hotel rooms and up until now were forced to hold entire teams accountable for the actions of individual players.
After further investigation, we have been able to determine the individuals that were specifically responsible for the damage. We have also found that other teams which were originally suspended indefinitely had been lumped into this group by the hotel by mistake. Thus, our list of suspensions from the event has been updated to the following:
Billy York ? probation
Trent Wilson ? probation
Grover Srader ? probation
Michael Fitzpatrick ? probation
Jesse Babb ? 1 year suspension
Tanner Russell ? Lifetime ban from PSP events
Daniel Orren ? 1 year suspension
Adam/Donald/DJ Thomsen ? Lifetime ban from PSP events
Todd Martinez ? 1 year suspension and reimbursement of costs for damage
Mason Kane ? suspended for one year
Devin Peithmann ? suspended for one year
Josh Harper ? suspended for one year
Zack Piper ? suspended for one year
Corey Jones ? suspended for one event
Demolition ? on probation
Infinity ? cleared
Montage ? cleared
Remaining Choppapb.com and Anarchy players ? cleared
The incidents that occurred in Texas were very unfortunate and a terrible step backwards for the entire paintball community. We hope that our recent actions against those that acted inappropriately will serve as a future warning to everyone attending PSP events. Childish and improper behavior will not be tolerated whether it occurs on event property or in the community graciously hosting our event. The reputation of our sport rests on the shoulders of each one of us, from the event promoters to the sponsors to the players. We must all work together to move paintball to the next level.
