Today Russian national paintball team took 2nd place at the European Championship. I was fortunate to play for our team and I want to congratulate and thank everyone who has played, coaching, organized and helped our team! I also want to congratulate my French friends with the European Champions title.

Hulk brings victory in SPL with the first phase of the Millennium!Season 2014 Hulk team start their new lineup. Even at the end of last season, it was decided to attract players on defense problematic position. Contracts were signed with the Ironmen team players Marcelo Margot and Alex Goldman. Furthermore foundation team at this year's Millennium - Шaroslav playing coach Alexander attack, two cadets from youth academy Hulk Ivan Berezyuk and Maxim Merezhany, as well as Andrew Mirolubov (unfortunately could not take part in the 1st stage ) . The main task of the team for the season in 2014 - winning the SPL in the season.The first stage was to be illustrative and answer the question , whether in the state team in this format to achieve their goals. The answer is yes!Hulk worthy passed its first test in France. In the group stage it was clear already that the team has great potential and can gain during the tournament.After winning the first two games with the same score 4:1 in Copenhagen Ducks and Ronholt Blast our team solved the problem with early access to the next stage of the tournament. The third preliminary was interesting in terms of testing a strong contender . FiveStar Lleida team set a serious problem for this season, as evidenced by the existence of such authority in the paintball team roster as Nicky Cuba, Damian Ryan, Kevin Rudulph. The match was very interesting and rich, the teams exchanged alternately be won points. A key moment in the match occurred when the score was 3-2 in our favor when 40 seconds before the end of the game we were four to one. Player of despair ran out on our snake, in our opinion was eliminated hit our player, which is also shoots him. As a result, strange decision of the judges, who gave point to opponent and moved the game into overtime. Overtime was a contender for the 3:4 final score.In 1 /8 played by the well-known opponent of last season , Drammen Solid. Not an easy match, but quite convincing victory 4-2.In the quarterfinals convincing victory over Amsterdam Heat, who in 2012 played in the CPL, 4-0.In the semifinals, we met with substantial effort ML Kings. Three American Pro players and Slava Shturmas able to compete with any team, including the CPL, so we did not have any illusions regarding the prospects for an easy victory in this match. We knew that to win the one who made fewer mistakes. As expected, the match was incredibly emotional. First, when the score was 3:3, ML Kings could not realize their numerical advantage and the game ended by the time. In overtime, nerves gave our legionnaire, Alex Goldman, and in three to three game he unsuccessfully ran for the bunkering and, unfortunately, brought a penalty. What happened next, other than a miracle will not name. Last remaining in the field, Marcelo Margo was able to pull it seemed lost match alternately hit three players of the opposing team. Total incredibly nervous 4-3 victory!In the final, besides Hulk, made it very strong Swedish team, Falkoping Mashive. They were not very pliable rival and intrigue in the game continued until the end.It is worth noting a good game Marcelo, who at 3-2 to win the duel in one and two to finish the match. 4-2 victory in the final of the Hulk !Team made the first step towards achieving our goal! I started playing paintball when I was 14 because a friend showed me his issue of Paintball2Xtreme magazine. I soon went out and played with a group of friends, and had the time of my life. We started a team together, and I had a desire to play at the professional level one day. As my friends slowly feel away from the game, I pushed on, doing whatever I could to afford the chance to practice and play. As for joining "RL," I was approached by Kirill before the 2013 season, and informed that they were interested in having me. A couple of days later, I also received word that an opportunity to move overseas and run a field/store in Belgium was open to me. I wouldn't have been able to meet the demanding training routine of RL without this move, so I was very fortunate everything worked out. I am also very thankful to everyone that made this possible. Alex Martinez from X-factor for doing everything he has for me since day one, which allowed me to compete and enjoy the game I love. For Axel Knauf and Geoffrey Bouillon, without them none of this would be possible. Last, but certainly not least- I want to thank the RL organization for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime to compete with such a professionally run club. I admire the players and staff alike, and hope that together we can add another star on the RL logo this year, and more in the years that follow.

RL club is happy to anounce that PBcustoms laser engraving company from Germany has joined Legion's sponsor. They have already created two designs for the team guns. First is based upon AK 47 and russian military theme another more about Soviet stereotipes: Ivan Drago, Iron netting, Churches and USSR simbols. Guns look really cool and some of the Legioneers guns have already een engraved and guys are very happy to play with their new CLONES. Quality of engravement is very high-picture is clear at all serfaces.Just check the attached pictures.

RL is happy to announce that the contract with new gun company has been signed. Russian Legion will stay with the new Australian sponsor MacDev for two seasons 2010 and 2011.

After the end of the successfull 2009 season several pro US and Euro players contacted our team about joining RL in 2010 season. Looked through all of this advices and taken into consideration real team needs RL have decided to give a chanse to our old teammate Konstantin Fedorov.

Vacation

After the great end of both US and European season RL is having it's vacation. Players like Sasha Berdnikov, Dima Kulikov, Mishka Kniazev, Sergei Solnishkov, Slava Yanushevsky, John Zakharov recieved a possobility to go to their native cityes and spend some time with their familyes, because they are not from Moscow origionaly.

Before the WC09 and the new season RL restiled the team part of their sait. Now it is made with brand colours and with brand new logo. It contains info and sponsor shortcuts, pics from Chicago by Gary Baum, some new profiles at TEAM part...but it is only for right now.
